A rare pair presented to Squadron Leader J.G.D. Armour in 1941. The good silver and gilt example by Spink & Son of London. Three hooks to the reverse which is stamped 'Silver'. Squadron Leader J.G.D. Armour was born in 1904 and commissioned into the RAF in 1925. He transferred to the RAF Reserve and was recalled in August 1914. In 1943 he was serving with Ferry Command and resigned his commission in October 1945.
